Water Supply

The water quality meets the National Standard (GB57-84), and the water pressure is 0.16 MPa. The annual tap water supply in Chengdu is 521 million m³ with a daily supply of 1.8095 million ton.

The West Park of the Hi-tech Zone is supplied by the municipal water supply system. The groundwater quality is fine, with a hardness of 11.2-12 (German unit) and mineral content ranging from 0.2G/L to0.3G/L contains mostly calcium carbonate. Daily water supply amounts to 500,000 tons with a water pressure over 0.14 MPa, meeting Standard for Drinking Water (GB5749-86) and EEC (98) Standard.

Power Supply

The annual power supply of Chengdu city is 14.52 billion KWh.

The West Park is supplied by the municipal power grid, with a system voltage of 110 KV, currently with 1 transformers of 220 KV and 4 of 110 KV, supplying a total of 1 billion KWh/year on a non-interrupted basis. Power-supply stability reaches 99.89%, MTBB 50±0.2 hz.

Gas Supply

The total gas supply is 2.6 billion m³ in Chengdu.

The West Park is supplied by the city gas network provided by 3 gas companies with a daily capacity of 900,000 m³ through a pipe system of diameter 219-273 mm and a pressure of 0.8mpa/cm². The gas does not contain H₂S and other acidic gases, non-corrosive to equipment and burning devices.
